Modification Descriptions

-Power Supply upgrades ($400 installed)
We replace critical capacitors and diodes in the Power Supply with Rubycon ZL/ZA and RAM exotic Silver Diode bridges mounted on a wooden platform. These new unique diode bridges give the unit superior speed and bass that no other diodes being used on the market are giving.We replace the stock smoothing caps with an Exotic Jensen 4-pole version which provides increased performance over 2-poles design which "push" noise, the Jensen blocks noise and decouples. Also, we re-engineer the board and eliminate some energy robbing devices. This brings much more resolution, better defined and deeper bass and more sonic character. This really makes this player sound cleaner, more robust and authoritive. This upgrade also makes the video portion look/sound better as well.! We replace the stock IEC connector with an ACME Audio Labs Cryogenicly treated Silver IEC connector.Better power transfer characteristics, definitely improves the sound! We re-wire the input with Audio Consuling Silver wire!In addition, we reengineer the power supply diode scheme for far less noise and add a Audiocom Invisus Regulation circuit to power mulitple and critical digital circuits. This mod really cleans up the problems with the stock supply and gives the circuits the clean voltage and energy they need to perform to their optimum.

Audiocom Superclock 4-S Clock($295 Free Install!!)-
We add a reference quality jitter reduction circuit called a Superclock 3 , this a major improvement in overall sound! This replaces the master clock and offers much lower jitter rate than the stock cmos type oscillator. Expanded soundstages and accurate instrument definitions for example are the many outcomes of this major mod component. Breathtaking performance is now possible!! Please give the unit well over 300 hours to break-in with this clock. Bonus!

Transport Board Capacitor Upgrades ($100 Installed)-
We replace critical Voltage Bypass and decoupling capaciotrs with the Rubycon ZA/ZL series caps. These are incredibly faster and much higher performing than the stock smd type caps. This gives the critical transport servo and processing chips cleaner and faster power to performance to higher levels.

Copper or Silver Wire Transformer Output Stage Mods ($700 Installed for Copper, $1000 Installed for Silver) Here it is! Now you can get very stunning resolution and dynamics from our Signature Transformer Output Stage exclusively using Audio Consulting Silver or copper wired transformers! These transformer are very rare, handmade and come direct from Switzerland! This totally redefines the Denon DVD-2910 output stage, which squashes dynamics and resolution and is very slow sounding and constricted in our opinion. Also now we can effectively and inherently provide galvanic isolation. Music is much quieter, cleaner, more resolute with no lack of dynamics! You will be stunned! Much more music, emotion, and drive. The Copper versions offer great resolution/dynamics and performance without breaking the bank, and still sound much better than other transformers and others output stages. The Silver versions offer the same as the coppers but more resolution and vividness to the music and sound cleaner/faster. We replace an abundance of voltage bypass caps with Rubycon ZL/ZA capacitors. We add a very high performance Ultra Fast Buffer Cirucit to increase the current (drive) which will bring more bass/slam/presence. We replace the Stock RCA connectors with the WBT NextGen Female versions with either copper (provided when copper output stage mod is selected) or Silver versions (provided when Silver output stage mod is selected) Select either Copper or Silver, Please do not select both on the checklist
