The fabulous Jensen 4-pole electrolytics add a whole new dimension to better power and better sound. We were so impressed with our initial evaluation that we have decided to use them in every modification we develop. They have a unique ability of reducing power supply distortion while at the same time remaining very fast and natural. We honestly believe these are the replacement or upgrade to the highly praised Blackgate capacitor for reservoir power supply capacitance applications. The Jensen works best when installed right after the rectifying stage (the noisiest part of the supply). It is a clearly audible improvement delivering more resolution, dynamics, and liveliness.
