Mantra Sound
Mantra Sound's Dulcet Loudspeakers with external crossovers is a 2 way horn system. The highs and mids are produce using two special full range drivers capable of frequencies from 25KHz to 2KHz and horn loaded down to 300Hz. A 12" Supravox woofer produced the base down to 35Hz. All drivers are 98db efficiency.

The external crossovers are built with top quality components from Audio Consulting.

Only one run of 0.5mm silver wire with cotton insulation was used for speaker wire.

Our Reference CD/SACD Player is a heavily modified Marantz SA-1. The wooden case is optional and is made with cocobola, burl, and maple wood. The mod includes reference output transformers by Audio Consulting, power transformer by Audio Consulting, and Superclock II by Audiocom.

This was the only component on the mains (see the mains conditioning system below).

The turntable was from Teres Audio. The unipivot tonearm was specially made by Morsiani in Italy and the wooden arm was provide by Audio Consulting.

The wooden arm is single piece of beach wood lacquered with C37. Audio Consulting silver wire was used through out.

When playing analog, we were totally off the mains. Sound to die for!

Audio Consulting introduced their new phono stage in the States. No capacitors in the signal path! Battery powered and very quiet. Produced shocking levels of detail and dynamics.

Left, is another example of the wooden tone arm. This one made out of cherry wood.

Audio Consulting's battery powered 30W solid state amplifier produced some very dynamic sounds both micro and macro. Many visiters thought they were listening to tubes.

Left, is our mains conditioning system. Twelve Audio Consulting L-C filters and two reference "silver rock" isolation transformers allowed the CD player to rock!
