Shopping for Mods…What to look out for!

INTEGRITY - The influx of many new modification businesses has proven that mods are now accepted amongst the sophisticated high end consumer. It is rather unfortunate that we are willing to admit that many of them are "suspect", "Shady", "not to be trusted", or "simply fraudulent".

DISCLOSURE - This is extremely important!! We disclose everything we do. RAM mods are not confidential but rather public knowledge. Sure, not every detail will be available but at the very least the core concepts and part brands should always be revealed. You may be at risk otherwise.

EXPERIENCE - Has the mod been done before? Remember that just because a mod is on a website does not mean R&D has ever been done on that particular piece. RAM only offers mods which have been thoroughly R&D ‘ed. It is extremely difficult to develop a mod effectively within a week or so…don’t believe it! However, a first time modification is certainly possible since it is how all mod packages come to life. One needs to make sure the selected modifier discloses this fact when in discussion. "I have never worked on this piece before"...real simple.

PRICE - This is always a crucial aspect of the decision making process. RAM is first to admit that we are NO WHERE NEAR the cheapest available option. This is primarily due to the extremely high quality and expensive parts we insist on using. We are simply not in this business to provide a “quick fix” or “different sound” but rather to make real sonic improvements.
